Kelli J Brooks, RN, MHA is the Executive Director of Perioperative Services at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. Mrs. Brooks began her career in Perioperative Services over 19 years ago and started as a Surgical Technologist, became a Registered Nurse that worked in the Operating Room, and has had steady progress up the Perioperative Services leadership chain over the last 10 years. She is responsible for all departments related to the surgical journey of a patient and promotes collaboration and culture change, strategic development and growth, supports quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices, and works to mentor and develop her own leaders through her own personal leadership training classes. She received her MHA through the University of Phoenix and is working to acquire her Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives designation.

During her time at Cabell Huntington Hospital, the Institute for Minimally Invasive Surgery has received the designation of Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery. The Institute for Minimally Invasive Surgery next steps are to become a Robotic epicenter for their region which provides an exceptional Robotic Residency Program at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University and to provide Robotic and Minimally Invasive capabilities for procedures in all service lines.

Heidi Hamady, RN, BSN

Heidi Hamady, RN, BSN is the Program Manager of the Institute for Minimally Invasive Surgery at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. Her role includes maintaining hospital and program accreditation as a Robotic Center of Excellence, maintaining surgeon and program accreditation for the Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecological surgery (COEMIG), maintaining performance and quality improvement initiatives, creating educational materials for Perioperative Services staff as well as each hospital department where the patient may receive care after Robotic surgery, and assisting with the Institute for Minimally Invasive Surgery program data, analytics, and statistics. Along with her 9 years of experience in the Operating Room, Heidi has 9 years of experience teaching Mathematics to high school and middle school students.
